I am doing a center console swap from a Lariat to my XL.
The donor had a broken latch on their console, and I am trying to figure out what part is needed, but I can't find any decent pictures of the latching mechanism to figure out what I need. The only diagram I found was really crappy looking, so that didnt help much.

Try searching 2006 F150 Lariat center console handle latch....looks like the hook broke off the one in the picture..

Read description carefully...I've seen some say that it only fits the glove box, and others said it was for the flip up consoles with steering column shifter...

Should only be around 15-20$...a new lid is around 20-40$ or so...
