Apologies, if this has been covered (tried to search it, but didn't see much), but in the process of looking for replacement leather, I've come across listings on ebay and amazon for replacement cushion and console lid covers, but I'm concerned for relative color match as the pictures really don't seem to be the color of typical king ranch leather. Has anyone had any dealings with the replacements? Am I better off looking for a replacement seat to throw in? I really want to bring the leather back to life if possible!

It's a 2005 KR btw.

 

The listings on eBay are nu buck skins and not castano leather. This has a little to do with the color difference. I would think they would wear and look the same after a few thousand miles.The color difference may also be that the original leather has already built it's "character" and darkened/stained. The nu buck will be completely clean and will naturally look brighter.

 

I bought a new leather seat bottom and cushion from the Seat Shop. com in Texas, my leather is standard Lariat Pleather not the King Ranch but the match was exact.
