Default Undercoating- What to use?

So, i have been reading about this topic and wanted some final input from experience.
The question is, use the undercoating in a can and spray away or get some herculiner and roll it on like the bed. With either option, what would be some prep-work involved to get the best results?

Just got my F-150, it has been a Cali truck all its life so the frame is spotless but i am about to move back home to Iowa when i'm done with the military! Want to keep it protected from the salt! Thanks!

P.S. If anyone has pics of their job please post them!

I don't have any pictures but I have lived on the salty sanded rodes in New England almost my entire life and nothing at all can compare to POR15 greatest rust inhibitor ever created!!! Period... For real though it is great stuff.

Rustoleum truck bed coating in a can creates an excellent, durable, even finish.

Honestly, I stay away from this rubberized stuff. It traps moisture underneath and you can't see it from the "outside".

Personally I just go for regular oil sprays. Ya, it drips, but drives out existing moisture and doesn't trap moisture.
