i have a 2006 ford f150 lariat. i took my seats off to get my code. when i tried i realized it doesnt work. i took the panel off to see if it just disconnected, and its not. any idea on what should i do or check?

 

The person who had it before you could have re-programmed it.

You can try to change it if it's possible (you'd have to search for a thread that tells you how to do that) or go to a Ford dealership and have it put on a computer to read the code.

 

There's no power.

 

Check the fuse first, then pull the panel off and check the wiring.

 

What's the fused called in the Manuel for the keypad??

 

Ahhh I read that as the code doesn't work, not that it literally just doesn't work.

It's the fuse...look at the fuse panel cover or check your owners manual for fuse descriptions
