Default Keypad code help

Hey guys so I've had my f-150 for a couple months now and I have 2 keyless entries so I havnt really bothered with the outside keypad bc the guy I bought it from didn't have the code. But now is like to use it. Can I only get the code from ford? And how much does it cost if so? Thanks

If you plan on getting behind your seat regularly, zip tie the stupid clips so they don't re-lock. The bolts and other fasteners you have to undo will keep the seat in place during normal use. Also, if you use the screwdriver method, use a skinnier screwdriver. That fat one he uses in the video will give you fits. Trust me...

On my wife's Expedition the code is found behind the glove box and up by the fuse box there. Kind of have to hang upside down to see it. I never had to look for my truck so don't know if it is the same.

In the owner's manual it will tell you can find the code at and how to set your own so you don't have to remember the factory one.

Hope this helps.

in 2004-2008 F150s the code is behind the seat...on a sticker attached to the computer module.
