*SIGH*. Ok, I bought my 2004 F150 Supercab 4.6 liter XLT used. Naturally, I didn't get the code for access from the pad on the door! Rather than pay to go to dealership and have them tell me, I tried to access where it's "supposed" to be: behind the back of the rear seat! After reading the directions on removal (miraculously put online), I tried it myself. Are you kidding me!? I'm ready to take the jaws of life and cut that seat out! Suggestions?

I just did mine on Sunday. It seems impossible but grab a glass of patience and keep trying. I spent about 30 minutes until I finally just grabbed and yanked but after you get the seat out you'll see how easy it is to do. Keep trying!!!

 

If you have a strong back and good leg power, you can do it this way.


That's how I did it, but be careful, I can easily see someone throwing out there back if not careful... but it's a whole lot easier! Just remember to pull back AND up
