Default Keyless entry code

hey guys as some of you may know i just bought an 05 lariat and i need to find out my keyless entry code. i have heard it was under the dash printed clear as day, though i have had no such luck finding it there.
and secondly i have heard it was behind the rear seat on the back of the cab but i was wondering if anyone knew of an easier place i can find it without removing my seat without having to go to a dealership.
thank you

Its in you're trucks handbook.Looks like a credit card that says"key-less entry code) If the code is anywhere else, its not under my dash, and its not behind my rear seat.Have looked both places when i couldn't find my handbook for the card.

yes there is an easier way than removing your seat, and thats paying the dealership to look it up.

It took me 10 minutes to remove my seat, take a picture of the module, put the seat back. done. just read up on it, theres a trick to popping it out of the holders at the bottom of the seat.

Takes less than 5 minutes the second time around.

Skull, you did look under the rear panel liner, right?

Yeah it is right behind the drivers rear seat. And the trick to getting your seat back out is just to yanke the hell out of it till it pops out. Trust me I got frustrated did this a few times and out she came. The Stealership wanted to charge me 65 dollars just to look up my code!!! Just to put my VIN in a damn computer what a rip off. So yeah I recommend the seat. Good luck and HAPPY FORDIN!
