I have been getting the chime for the key left in the ignition randomly. If I insert the key and pull right back out LOL it will go away. Any ideas or simple fixes to this? Is my ignition switch beginning to go or maybe just a sticky tumbler? Key works great and chime is very random.

 

you could try a little graphite in the tumbler then work the key in and out a few times..

 

That's my plan. I have been researching to see if this is a common problem for something else. I have to find my dry graphite and Ill give that a shot.
