Ka-chow!
This happened literally 3 minutes after I finished a 100 mile trip on the highway. And in the parking lot of a Jeep/Truck shop!
I can’t imagine how much worse this could have been!

No foreshadowing creaking or popping noises in the days leading up to the ball joint exiting the scene?
I'm very glad you were in a parking lot when this happened. Maybe time to go buy a lotto ticket!

No noise that I was aware of (although I will admit that I am a bit hard of hearing, keep the music pretty loud, and my MTs aren't exactly quiet.)
I was starting to notice a little wobble at 55-60 mph but chalked it up to the tires needing to be rebalanced, which helped the problem somewhat.
And good idea on the lotto ticket!
