Post Just wondering

I'm new to the forums so hello to everyone, just got a 2008 f150 harley edition 5.4 supercharged. Just cant decide on the programmer I want, kinda need a little help, also was wanting to get rid of the power sucking cooling fan for a electric one but noticed the electronic fan clutch, need to know how to get rid of this without and hassles from the eec. Also does not look like there is much info about headers for the supercharged engine either, it doesn't seem like the supercharger really works effiecnt when in 1st gear, any help would be great,, thanks to all.

Troyer performace is who you want to look at since you are supercharged, they take awhile but he is the place for supercharged trucks.

I always thought that most mid-90's GM's cut out at 120ish albiet electronically or power limited.

I didn't think and Eldo would do over 130 if you dropped it out of an airplane.

A dyno tune is certainly your best option, but the folks at Troyer Performance do a great job writing custom tunes for the F150 even if they are considered an email tune, they are still custom tunes. They do take along time to get delivered, but they are well worth it IMO. Especially since you are already supercharged. Give them a call and talk to Mike there.
