Default Just started a thread in the wrong place but...

Does anyone know if you can get a center console put in where a bench seat is currently? I know it would be difficult transferring the shifter from steering column to center console shifter but frankly I hate the bench seat it's ugly and I only need it a certain times. Didn't know if this was possible but any input would be awesome thanks guys!

It is possible, and I've done it. Rather then trying to move the shifter, I got one of the consoles that doesn't have the floor shifter in it, and I love it. So much better then a worthless middle seat up front.

Any pics? Not totally useless
I just don't have any idea how they expect anybody other than an imp to sit there

For some reason I want the shifter but if yours looks good you might change my mind, is the shifter possible to move without being overly expensive and having possible problems down the road

I'll have to get some pics in the morning. I actually found a guy on here that wanted to swap so we did. I'm not sure how much it would run you to do it. Good question though
