It rides so nice just set the level to 4 or 5 up front and youll be good.
Thanks! That was going to be my next question for those who were running this setup, was what level to use for "every day" driving.

I like that I'll be able to change it up based on what I'm doing, though!

I know a guy who does body work, so he only charged me $400/side. It probably would have been cheaper if I had them done at the same time, but I waited about a year and half after having the passenger side done to finally get the driver's side done. I was so PO'd, though, because the truck was only about 6 months out of the corrosion warranty when this became evident.

Interesting... that's the thing about buying something like this online. It seems like there are 1000 part numbers.

I used this guide to make sure I (hopefully!) ordered the right thing:

ETA - Reading is fundamental eh? I'll check out the website you listed.
LOL! No problem... the whole setup (front and back) was $481. I had a code to get like $10 off. Plus I'll get the $120 rebate, which made this the no-brainer way to go. I was thinking of just a leveling kit, but with this many miles I may as well get the added benefit of new struts and shocks and an alignment. I shopped the heck out of these things, comparing price+shipping+discount-rebate from about 6 different well-known places. This one came out on top, hands down. The next cheapest was $55 more.

Just got a coupon from Ford today for a 4-wheel alignment for $70... so good deal there, too!

I signed up at fordowner.com and as a result get regular coupons from Ford for my local dealer. Some are the typical useless stuff for tires, etc., but there's a good one that comes in regularly for "the works" package for like $40 that includes an oil change, tire rotation, fuel filter change, and some other stuff that's pretty good.

Got my Ranchos installed and have to say, I love the look and my truck rides like new!

My old struts and shocks were original Ford branded with 118k on them, and the rears were basically shot, so it's not wonder it rode like a wooden box.

I'll try to get some photos posted up soon... once I get the truck cleaned up a bit.

Also wanted to note... mine came with absolutely NO guidance on how to dial them in once they are installed. So I emailed Rancho about it, and this was the response. Thought I'd post it here in case it helps someone else:

Thank you forcontacting Rancho Suspension.

-The adjuster ***** are made so that whatever number is in the 12 o'clock position is the numberyou shock is set at.
-There are 9 settings on the shock. 1 being the a softer ride and 9 being afirmer ride. We recommend setting the shock somewhere around 4 or 5 and then adjusting to your personal ride preference from there.
- Setting 9 is when the **** is turned completely clockwise and setting 1 is when the **** is turned completely counter-clockwise.
-The lower settings are similar to OE ride and good for rough roads or off-roading.
-The higher settings give maximum control on the road and is also good for towing and hauling.

Hope this is helpful.

I did mine about a month ago. Took about 1 1/2 hours with the right air tools. Also did rears, piece of cake, and i am not super car savy.
