Just In Case
Ok for anyone that has an ABS light issue check this out.
I recently had my ABS light turn on and never shut off. So I got a code reader and pulled a code for a malfunction ABS sensor. Well I got under the truck and seen that the cable that went to the single ABS sensor at the diff was cut.
Well what had happened was we added a little too much weight in stone in the back of the truck and the exhaust pipe burned through the cable and thats what set the code.
So I got under there and cut the cable and stripped the wire and solder the two wires back together. Two green wires: one with a black strip and one with a red strip, are the wires that you see running to the sensor.
If you have any more questions hit me up and can probably walk you through it more in detail.
Something that will cost you around $150 for a dealer to do cost me around 30 minutes of my time and pretty much free......(20 min for finding the issue)
