Default Jolting Feeling

Driving in my 05 FX4 and just turned over 80,800 miles. When I'm coasting and lightly press the gas the truck surges and jolts. Anyone ever heard of this?

COmmon problem. Have the plugs ever been changed? Does it go away with OD off?

I had the same issues and went away with new plugs. Trucks feels new and powerful again

Plugs have never been changed, and I haven't tried it with the OD off

O/D off would bump the rpm's up a bit. I believe the old, worn out plugs fire better once the rpm's are higher. The jerking, bumping, hesitation is them having a hard time making enough power to get everything in a higher gear when at cruising rpms.

Time for a plug change soon anyway with your mileage.

Alright I'll try that over spring break, thanks for the help!
