You will still have the stock file, just return it to stock. No biggie. Its like like with my Mustang I cant put it back to stock or my car will blow up. (not really)

I called Evolution Performance and talked to the JLT guy.

He agreed that to put a 2nd battery in my truck where I want the battery... this was the only choice. But as for the cost of a new custom tune for the new JLT ram air set up. Ouch! ($250.00) I opted for the kit with a new SCT x3 with the custom tunes w/the JLT Ram air.

So I will be selling my original SCT x3 with the K&N together as the SCT has been tuned to that intake. My SCT/ K&N CAI Kit cost 650.00 this included the custom tune. I hope I can get $350.00 - $325.00 it is only around 1year old. It has been a good set up.

I'll put it on Craig's list in about 3-4 weeks. once I get my new stuff.

Default The reason for the change

Once I get the dual batteries w/ the Isolator and terminal block mounted, then I can get the stereo system and off road lights moved to the Optima deep cycle battery. If everything works the way I have it in my head. It will be worth the cost and hastle.

I was looking at this intake before I decided on mine. IIRC, you need a custom tune from JLT. Since you already have the SCTx3, you may be able to purchase the tune and download it tour your SCT. The issue without the tune, is you will run lean.

Yes, as I have found trough my investigation.

since Kent at evolution told me they buy the SCT Blank. They install there own custom tunes into them.
So he recomended I sell my SCT-X3 and CAI together. it was the SCT -K&N Kit.

If I can sell for at least 1/2 of cost then it wll cost me less to buy the whole JLT - SCT kit from them. (in the long run after I sell My K&N kit)
