Default JBA shorty headers

My driver side exhaust manifold is warped and leaks like crazy. I got a quote now for JBA stainless headers for $450. Is it a good idea to replace them or just stick with the original manifold. Any advice appreciated, thanks

I'm going with new headers on my new motor, and I'm going long tubes. From what I've read, if your looking for performance, the long tubes are the way to go to give these motors the low end torque they need to bump the hp numbers. The shorties apparently don't do anything for the motor. For another $25, you can get longtubes, with resonators and a y pipe that puts you back into the stock location for the rest of your exhaust from Sparktecmotors. (thats what I'm getting)

Now, I still have my stock exhaust manifolds. If you want to just go back to stock, I'll sell you the manifolds im not reusing. I can bet that getting stock manifolds from the dealer, or wherever, would be way more than long tubes or shorties. LMK

98....I believe "shorties" basically fit the oem exhaust location.
The long tube headers will give you increased torque and hp.
A previous post mentioned exhaust and these motors. If you are lying awake and need some reading,
