Default JBA shortie headers HELP!

hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and I've just wondering who has done these headers on there trucks. I have a 04 5.4l 4x4 and i was wondering if anyone have used these or not and if you have gained anything from them. i just had my exhaust redone in april and i just found out i have a manifold leak. i currently have a 2.25 in true dual with 12" bullet mufflers now. i know that they don't do a ton but just a little would help, but Do these help with sound just a little bit and did you see any performance at all? videos of the sound would be awesome!!
thanks in advance,
Jared

I recently installed JBA shorty headers & 3" catback. (JBA also) on my '02 5.4L. Nice sound, no droning. Also a little peppier, a nice power increase.
Wife even likes the sound.
Sorry, no vid.

Never heard of "shorties" making any real noticeable change in performance. If you are going to go through the work of swaping out the manifold for a header, put on long tubes. More work to re route the o2 sensors and cats but worth it. You can buy entire kits that include the cats but.....go long tubes.
