Default Jack making rattling/squeaking

Not a huge deal, but the jack located on the passenger side rear in my super cab seems to make a squeaking/rattle. I tried adjusting it, which worked for about a week. Any of you guys run into this problem? Any remedies?

Put some door weatherstripping foam stuff under the contact points to cushion it. It's a single sided tape. You can get it pretty thick and you can double it up to build it up if you need.

Is your cloth bag with the lug wrench and all that installed with it like it's supposed to be from the factory? I had left mine out for a while and got the squeak too, but it went away when I put all the tools where they belong.

Yeah it's all in there. Just a matter of adjusting I guess

Make sure the jack is completely retracted. Take it out and crank it down (make it small) until it locks up tight.

Guess I never checked that. I'll try that on my next days off!

I tried the t-shirt thing and it seems to be working...for now
