Default Introducing myself

I tried the new member intro section but it's a lil slow so I thought maybe I would post here for some answers to my questions regarding my 2004 F150. https://www.f150forum.com/f3/new-pdx-f150-52605/

Looks like FX4 from the wheel lip molding, grill, and cluster. Looks like someone swapped on the Lariat 18s to me though.

What is your axle code on the door jamb build sticker?

This may help: http://www.meadowlandford.com/2004%20F150_brochure.pdf

I'll look at the door jam when I'm off work today. Any insight to preventative maintenance? I have 85K miles and want to do what I can to make this truck last a very long time.

Make sure you use Motorcraft (Ford OEM) oil and filters. Here's your owner's manual if you don't have it: https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp . Grab a six pack and do a forum search on power window regulators, Cam Phasers and Spark Plugs, make sure you read the corresponding TSBs. Be careful on using both a CAI and a tuner, the tuners need specific CAI programs to prevent leaning out the engine.

I have read up on the spark plug issues and that seems like a nightmare. The truck came with a CAI and not sure if it ever had a tuner program but I have no check engine light and it runs fine.
