Default Interior light flickering

Have a 04 Screw. Recently the dome light has been coming on by itself. Flickers on for just a second and goes off. Usually when I'm driving. Doesn't happen every day. No doors open. Anybody have this happen to them?.

Might sound sorta crazy but check the sensor in your door jamb. Press it in to turn the light off, then wiggle it while it is pushed in and see if the light flickers. Try this on each door.

Not yet. Was thinking that it might be a switch on the dash ( the one that dims the dash panel and turns on the interior lights). Have messed with it to turn the light off a few times. Admittedly I haven't spent a lot of time investigating it. Seems to always happen when I don't have time to spend on it.

Thanks. I'll give it a look.

Mine also recently started doing this. PITA. I find if I tap the dash above the dimmer switch, it goes out, but can't tell what is causing them to come on. Anyone?
