Default instrument cluster light

I have a burned out air bag light on my 2005 f150 fx4. I took the dash apart and tried to find the right bulbs at the store, but there's nothing there that looks right.

The bulbs all look fine, but my light doesnt' work, so I'm trying everything. On the instrument cluster, the black based bulb is rather bulbous - but there's no number printed on it. That being said, shining a light down the hole where they come out of doesn't illuminate the air bag light - so the issue must be a bulb on the cluster itself. I can't figure out how to take the needles off the cluster without damaging it, though.

I was getting the 5x5 beeps, so I've taken it apart about a dozen times - but the last time, the light came back on - gave me a code of 42 - so that's the front sensor. I've ordered that...now the light's not working again.

The wiring behind the dash looks fine. The black based bulb (the bottom one) is a bit loose in the hole after turning it back in - maybe that's the reason for hte intermittence?

Which light is for the airbag on this cluster? it's driving me batty!

The airbag light isn’t a serviceable bulb like other parts of the cluster. It’s a soldered in LED.

@2008__XL If you have experience with soldering, you can replace that LED.

I've fixed capacitors on motherboards before - so I'm sure I can figure it out. Any idea what led to order?

Never stated you couldn’t.

Thank you very much. All I need to do is figure out how to get the needles off the gauge without breaking anything, and I'll hopefully be good to go! I'll check youtube!

Be careful. The stepper motors that the needles are connected to are very fragile.

Actually, now that I replaced the front crash sensor that was cracked, the 5x5 beep warning went away. The light still does not come on, but the annoyance is gone. I may just hold off on replacing the light.
