Default Instrument cluster bulbs

Posting this to hopefully consolidate some searchable info and to save other people time.

A while back, I updated all of my interior lights to LED, including my instrument cluster bulbs. As I was hoping wouldn't be the case, these lasted just a little over a year before I started experiencing outages and/or loose connections (imagine how annoying a flickering gas gauge light it on a 200+ mile trip at night).

Anyways, decided to convert the instrument cluster bulbs back to 100% stock, replacing with brand new bulbs.

In order to do so, I needed the following:

Part # YL3Z*13B765*CA - "black base" bulbs - qty 7 - $5.96/ea @ Tasca
Part # YL3Z*13B765*DA - "gray base" bulbs - qty 4 - $4.30/ea @ Tasca

If you haven't done the job, it's a pretty simple ~30 minute task - six 6mm bolts & you have access.

Good luck!

Did you use cheap eBay LEDs by chance? I've had LEDs in my cluster for over a year without any issues.

Each bulb is $5.96 and $4.30? Or each pack of the bulbs is that price?

each.

You can certainly do it cheaper by just replacing the bulb, but I also needed several of the bases, so I went ahead and replaced everything new. Was around $75 or so.
