Default Installing Prodigy Brake controller

I have an 05 f150 and have the prodigy brake controller off of my durango. I am wondring if the harness for the brake controller just plugs into the ford under the dash? If So looking for some direction on where to look for the thing. I know I need the harness from prodigy for my year truck, but not sure what else? Is that all thats required to install the brake controller then? Any help would be great. Thanks

Tyler

I have an 05 King Ranch with a Tekonsha P3 controller.
Sure enough, if your truck has the factory tow package, there will
be a plug under the dash for the controller.

The prodigy directions have a diagram that will point you in the right direction. Don't forget the plug in thing that goes on the passenger side board. I'll have to dig out my directions to see what it actually is.

If your truck has a factory package there will be a grey Male conector behind the lower panel below the steering columm. You also need to put a relay in the fuse box on the right kick panel. Its for the 12 volts for the trailer.
