Default Installing door keypad on 2004

I have done a search on this site for the answer but I just haven't seen anything definitive. Can I install a Ford keypad on my 2004 XLT? Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

you can, but more than likely will require a ground to be added to the module behind the rear seat. I am doing it on my 2008 this week hopefully, and it should be plug and play. (Lucky me haha)

There is a thread for $50 or less mods I believe its on the 2009 and up models but someone there added a keypad to their door that was attached with double sided tape, basically a key fob but it looked good. You may want to look into that as it seemed like it was pretty easy to install and program.
