Default Installing components and amp

I just bought a infinity reference component speakers and a kenwood 500w 4 channel amp. My question is where are yal running the amp wire through the fire wall? I have never done this before i think its gonna get interesting! And is it ok to mount the amp under drivers seat?

Yes i did a search. Couldnt find anything directly related.

i just installed a 4channel - i pulled the mounting location for the tired jack up and mounted the amp under the rear passenger side seat. Wires we're simple actually to run - theres a few options for running thru the firewall. 1. install on battery and run along wire tray to drivers side firewall gromet (you will see) this one is an easy punch thru then simply run down drivers side floor plate and behind rear seat. 2. Under driver or passenger front seats - keep in mind some models of the f150's with scab and screws have a/c vents under those two seats. IMO i would worry about the cold air blowing on the electronics constantly - you could probably cap one off unless the vent is there to supply cooling for sometihng under the seat. 3. could mount on the rear wall of the cab beside the backrest for the rear seat....other option is you can run straight from battery thru grommet on passenger side - will need to cut thru grommet - recently installed amp on friends truck and we needed to remove battery and battery bracket to get "easy" access to this grommet....
