Default Installation of interior LED lights

I recently bought one of the $20 Alpena LED strip of light from a advanced auto parts store. I am needing help on where I need to run the cable so it gets power from the car battery. The set up I am wanting to do is run wire from the power source to a toggle switch then to the lights. Any help would be appreciated

Does it have like speaker wire on the end of it with a positive/negative wires? If so run the wire from the lights to the switch then run a wire from the switch to the fuse box to something that has constant 12v power. And then ground the other wire to a grounding point. You could also run it straight to the battery just run a wire to the battery and not the fuse box, just make sure you fuse it

It has a red and black cable (positive and negative). I looked at the fuse box that is next to the passenger's feet. Is that the fuse box you are meaning to connect it to? Is so, where on the fuse box because i cant seem to find a place to connect wires.
