Default Inside tailgate protection.

I got a rubber mat on my F150 that I really like but don't like having nothing to protect my tailgate when sliding stuff in out of the bed. So I'm wonder what other people are using. Thanks

My plastic drop in bed liner came with a plastic tailgate cover too, although they are both out for rust repair of the bed floor...bunch of BS

Not trying to be a smart a++ but I simply use a dropcloth. Im a contractor and have the drops with me all the time for both sliding stuff through my back window and across the tailgate. Just tuck it in the gap and its a cheap simple solution. Keep it in the back seat when not using it. I also put same color towels on my seats and it keeps them clean also. My 99 beige seats looked brand new because of this simple habit. That being said Im sure there is something cooler looking out there

I had a rubber bed mat given to me but the tailgate was exposed. I went to the local Farm & Fleet store and got a rubber tailgate protector. Matches my bed mat perfectly. You can get a tailgate protector from BedRug for $39.00.

I know there is different things out there that you can buy or just have at home. Just seeing other people's ideas. Thanks for the replies

My truck came used with the factory plastic liner in the bed and on the tailgate. I pulled the bed liner out within a day and put a Dee Zee rubber mat in. I hate the plastic because of the sliding and the ridges make it unbearable to crawl around on. I haven't replaced the tailgate protection yet, but it is something I plan on changing.
