Default Inoperative windows

The electric windows in my 2007 F150 recently stopped working. Cannot operate from drivers door or passenger controls. The fuse is good.

Can you operate the rear.. or none of the windows work.. common problem with our model year is the master panel on the drivers side..

Did they all quit simultaneously or one by one?

Agree with techrep that it's probably the master control on the drivers side. You can order the entire unit relatively cheap.

You may try and remove the panel to access the switches to determine if a wire or connection is loose or possibly test power input and determine if in fact it is the master control unit by testing the unit itself.

They all quit simultaneously.
Also the switch illumination quit at the same time.
When it first happened opening and slamming the door made them work.
Now however they are completely dead.

Sounds like you should pull the switch on the driver's side door and clean the contacts. If that doesn't work it could be that the line running through the door got pinched or wore out where it constantly bends to get from the cab to the door, and might just need to be jumped.

Or it could be the switch itself and needs to be replaced entirely. You have marching orders.

You may have an open wire in the wire Loom between the drivers door and cab..
