My information screen in the gauge cluster with the milage and temp information burned out. I can still read whats on the screen but there is no green backlight. Can I replace just the light or do I have to replace the whole thing?

Well, i have the exact same situation, everything works but there is no green backlight. I just bought my 06 and came with a certified pre-owned warranty. Took it to the dealer and they said the whole cluster had to be replaced and there is no bulb to change. That's what a Ford Service Tech told me and I don't think they would lie to me especially since its under warranty and i don't have to pay a dime, cause the sales manager is forking out the $100 deductable. But hey if the link instructions work, then i would try it.
