Default IMRC issue P2004

I have a 2008 f150 4.2L that was having misfire due to IMRC arm that fell off (bad bushing) with IMRC stuck closed code. Ok replaced IMRC actuator (motor) along with new arms and bushings. Truck runs great but now I have p2004 code (imrc stuck open). I put camera on IMRC while truck running and everything seems to be working correctly. I'm lost..... Any advice would be great. I also ran a can of seafoam upper engine/intake cleaner.

Was the new actuator a Ford part?
I would put the old actuator back on there
Good chance the code is related to the new actuator
I would also grab the pinpoint tests out of the PCED and read through them and do a few

It was dorman part. Was curious if the butterfly valve is closing like 90/95% of the way (carbon buildup) and that's the cause? Just guessing.....

Default Dorman was crap

So the problem was the dorman IMRC actuator, it just didn't have the pitch needed to fully close the butterfly valves. SMH 🙄

That's why I asked was it a Ford part
I use a whole lot of Dorman stuff and most of it works fine
The electronic stuff not so much
You can probably take that stepper motor apart out of the Dorman actuator and re clock the gears, so it works
The fuel pump relay modules sure do suck
