Question im confused ? F-250 leafsprings on a 04 f-150

I have been hearing that i could put f-250 leaf springs in the 04 f150. Now what does that do, does it give the truck more of a payload and a lift in the rear. Does it bolt right up or i gotta do some modified work, like welding or relocating the bolt up point. If someone can give me so advise or info bout doing this install if its worth it or not.

I will chime in and give you some advice. I would not mess with an F250 Leaf Spring on your F150. If you want more payload, go with the helper springs. I am nto exactly sure if the 250 springs would swap in but I am going to say there would probably need to be some modification take place. As for the parts for you truck that you are looking for, there is always Ebay, your basis truck shop, amazon.com and a wide number of other sellers. You buying decision can be made my searching the part numbers once you track them down and then you will be able to find the best price. Hope this helps a little.

I believe its supposed to be the equivalent of a helper spring setup just keeping it all as one spring pack. People have done it before, there's not supposed to be any modifications made to accommodate this, just swap them out.
