Default I'm adding a trans temp guage

On my 2004 f150 fx 4 . Was wondering what type and thread of the piece I have to place in the maintenance port I bought the autometer z series guage and the single guage pod.
someone posted what item went in there to get everything to fit but I'll be damned if I can find it.
Thanks

08 has Trans temps pid in system already (may not be correct terminology). Assume 04 would be the same. Just get an edge evolution programmer/monitor. You’ll gain ability to monitor trans temps, many other selectable gauges and all the other benefits of the edge. They aren’t that much $ for all the benefits.

Could be but I just bought a new aer engine from
power train engines out of okie cityand all new parts to go on it so i purchased the autometer for 53 bucks i cant see spending another 400 fun tickets for that. Probably well worth it.also just had a new valve body installed in tranny so maybe later

I've already paid also 1500 for the engine install.
I'll keep that in mind though
