Default Ignition Coils on an 2008 F150 Fx2

Is it common for the ignition coils to go bad on this truck? ive changed 3 already..

Is it easy to change out by myself.. at the mechanic its like 300 a coil w/ labor.

anyone have an how to?

Each one has like a 7mm bolt if I remember right. I am guessing they are common, my 2007 has them going bad and I pulled to verify this last night and sure enough, one is leaking the fluid from inside it. Cost around $40 each, take that one bolt out, if you are good you can get connector off without finessing it out like I did. Easier to get connector off once its been pulled. I am no master mechanic by any means and I was able to figure it out.
