Default Ignition coil codes

What is the difference between PO304 & PO354. Also please confirm P0354 is cylinder/coil #4 (it states D).

I think what I'm reading is P0304 is more of a fuel issue and P0354 is electrical??

p0304 is just a cylinder 4 misfire, it doesnt specify fuel, spark or compression

and... P0354? Forscan reads one like fuel & the other like electrical. That's where I got this.. Any which way, I'll be checking both/all.

Very curious what/how the codes are different. Both look like mis-fire on #4.

the P0304 is a general misfire code which was thrown because the PCM detected a reduction in RPM when that cylinder was supposed to be firing. It could be ignition, fuel, or mechanical (compression)
The P0354 is a detected misfire on the ignition side of the equation, so thats the place to start (plug, spring, boot, coil, or connector) Likely if you make the P0354 go away so will the P0304.

The P035x codes are usually seen when there is a detectable issue on the PRIMARY side of the coil, typically an open or a short circuit.
