Default Idle adjustment

Is there a way to raise the idle without a tuner? I don't think so, but before I shell out hundreds of dollars on one just to fix my idle, I thought I would ask the experts. The truck needs phasers, but a higher idle makes it run smooth and I could live with that.

As far as I know, I have never seen an idle adjustment screw on the truck, a programmer like the Edge will let you adjust the idle.

So instead of fixing the phasers, you want to mask the problem by raising the idle?

The phasers aren't going to cause engine failure, at least according to the mechanic at Ford, so $300 sounds a lot better than $2500 on a 10 year old truck. Hopefully I will only have the truck another 3 years and only put about 6k per year on it.
