The IAC on the back of the stock manifold opens butterflies at the base of the manifold. My unit only seems to open halfway when tried manually. Is there an electric stop built in? or should it open fully when tried manually? Thanks for any input.

 

If you are not having any idling issues i would it is alright.

 

No idling problems but truck never felt as fast as my 01 although the power claims were greater. I wondered if perhaps this unit was not opening fully.
