Default I want some sound

I have an 06 super crew with the plain sound system. Id like to have a little better sound so im putting in a double din screen and a set of components. Id like to have some bass but really don't want anything that big anymore. What id like to find is a box and subwoofer from the shaker system that goes under the back seat. Is that something I could buy somewhere or know of someone selling one?

Sounds like one 10 maybe two 10s sounds about right for you. Supercrewsound.com makes pretty nice stuff. That's where I got my box for 12s and seat lift kit. Try them out and see what you think!

I have 2 10" JL subs in a supercrewsound box. The box is very nice and looks good under the seat. With clean good power 10s will rattle your car apart if you want them to. I'm going to be dynamating my truck this spring because of how bad it is. My point is that 2 nice 10s are plenty if you're running good power to them and have a good head unit.

By shaker system (mustang) I assume you mean the stock audiophile single 8. That isn't worth the PITA it would be to install. Go with at least an aftermarket single 10.

Ill be selling my audiophile 8" sub. Honestly it sounds great if you want a full sound with lo end but you don't want the sound rattling your truck and annoying the neighbors. Also it doesn't look like a sub box so it's good thief deterent.

One thing about super crew sound boxes are they are pricey! But I love it cuz you can choose carpet color and adding 5/8" to mounting depth and upgraded terminals!!! I paid almost 400 bucks for my twelves box and seat lift kit!!!

Yeah the seat lifts are expensive. I got the extra mounting depth, but not the seat lift. I wish I would have gotten the seat lift too so I could have had a little bit of a bigger box to have a little more air space to help with the low range. I'm still really happy with my system though

What I'm looking to do is actually down size. I had two 10s in my last truck and it takes up too much room under the seat. All I want is a nice bass sound in side the cab.
