Default i need yalls help

I have a 04 f150 xlt triton. I ordered a hid kit for my truck. Now the problem is. When I turn my headlights on... they don't both always come on. Sometimes neither come on. I have to turn the light switch a few times to get them both on. I installed a capacitor to see if thay would fix it... no Luck. Anyone know what I can do to fix it?

Check the connections from the ballast to the power source (I assume this is a "plug and play" using the stock connectors). Make sure the power and ground wires within the two male/female wiring connectors of the ballast are clean and tight.

This is why I finally went back to using a stock bulb; my passenger side HID would go out. I'd unplug the factory wire to the ballast, plug it back in, and the HID bulb would work for a day, sometimes a week, and sometimes a month before this problem happened again. Contacts were clean, I used some dielectric grease on the connectors, but it would still happen. After getting pulled over by the police for having a failed headlight, I took them off and went back to stock.

Id go with a wire harness that you can buy off Ddm tuning .com this adds an inline fuse and relay directly from your battery. So there's a constant clean flow of power to those bulbs. Lookup ddmtuning.com and search wire harness under hid accessories.

Don't see why not.. they don't cycle do they? Meaning stay on for awhile then shut off by themselves, then back on after they cool down. If not you should be fine

My best bet would be the need for a wire harness, relatively cheap, 15 bucks I believe.
