Default I need help... again Vacuum lines

I have a vacuum leak in my line from the brake booster but i cant figure out for the life of me how to get that back part of the line of to fix it? Has anyone here ever taken off the lines or had a problem like this?

Depending on your vin# there might be a recall on that. Now the only way to get to it is from underneath the truck on the drivers side. It's above the tranny to the right of the left bank engine head. Warning though if your moving your arm around in that tight space be sure to set your e- brake or block your rear wheels cause you can accidently bump your shifter on the tranny! I know from experience! Hope this helps.

thanks a ton i had heard that but i just couldnt see anything fitting up there. i guess i wil have to try harder then. I have a 2004 i think the recall for all of that is on the 2005's anyone no a way i can see if there is a recall on mine?

Just call the ford dealerships service department give them
your vin#. They will run it for any recalls! I was looking at that exact vacuum line, it's a bitch but you can get to.

well i finally got to it. Except the line was fine and it was my intake that is leaking so now i get to change the intake gaskets. Wouldnt a code usually pop up if the intake had a leak?
