haha...ya ..i dont know much about them chargers ...do they have like a westgate or anything like that blow up valve

what do you mean?

and tomorrow i am taking it down to my buddy he used to build chargers so he is gonna make sure everything is all good

if you hadnt hand any noises or anything leading up to this...i would make sure the charger didnt cause this ..... that being said.. i have no idea about these...just alot of automotive knowalge and it looks like some boost did that...

Haven't seen the pics...but from what you are describing...it sounds like a little bit lean mixture, a little detonation...or both...

just a quick "wow, that happened to me once..." story - my dad had a 250 cid 6cyl chevy when i was learning how to drive. it started making these awful banging, LOUD, noises once, on the north side of town. i slowly drove it home. the next day, we drove it to the shop.
no. 6 had broken off all the way around just above the rod mount, separated, then pushed the top of the piston all the way up into the top of the cylinder where it crushed the valves. the noise was the bottom half coming up and smacking the top half on every turn of the crank, plus maybe a little complaining from the rockers.
and it was still running when we tore it down.
