I've got a shot in the dark idea. You said that when you put the old frps on, it ran fine for a little bit, then wouldn't start. So I'm thinking, disconnecting the battery and resetting the pcm might be why it ran fine. Try that again, and try to get repeated results. That could possibly tell you that the pcm itself is the culprit. Or it could tell you that there's a faulty connection or wire somewhere, and it takes a few minutes for the pcm to recognize it. Or it could tell you nothing at all. Either way, it's not going to cost anything to give it a shot

Well I've disconnected the battery several times to reset the PCM. Now the truck runs with the new FRPS and the code is back with it also p0193) it's as if it ran fine for about 30 minutes with the new one but something is causing it to act up. I can maintain the normal things and y'all help with a lot also but Idk where else to look with out taking it to a mechanic and I really would rather fix it myself. I guess my question would be "what is connected before the FRPS that could possibly malfunction" or am I over thinking ? I'm so OCD with my truck so please bare with me and the questions.

So when you clear the codes, she runs fine for a little bit, then starts to act up?

It will run after I reset it but 5 mins later the code comes back and she sidles rough.

That makes me think it's something electrical, not mechanical, so I wouldn't worry about the fuel pump. Have you checked to see if any fuses or relays are hotter than normal? Or if the battery cables are corroded(lots of green, instead of shiny copper). Having a bad ground can cause all kinds of systems and sensors to go haywire. That's free stuff to check. On the other hand, I have heard of the Dorman FPDM'S going bad after a few months...

I will check fuses in the morning and the battery cables look good. What is that cable ?

It's the connector for the FRPS. It may be a bad connection at the sensor. |
