Question HVAC Mode Door Problems

Hey guys, its been a while since Ive been on here. I tried doing some digging on here before i wrote a post but i didn't really find too much. Now I thought my problem was related to the TSB o bout the grinding noise when changing modes (defrost, front panel, floor). Mine was making that noise at one point in time but now i am unable to switch modes completely. Since its hot outside Ive had my AC on and cannot changed modes at all. I took the motor and cam apart and lubed as the TSB said to do but before i out it all together i noticed that one of the 3 arms that control all the doors does not move at all. I really don't want to rip my dash, heater core and all that fun stuff out. Is there any other suggestions to what i can try? As far as i can remember I did have an issue with getting it to go to defrost mode this in the winter as well but once the vehicle started to warm up it would eventually move to defrost. Anyways if there is any suggestions or any info that anyone can give to me on this that would be greatly appreciated. If it helps my truck is a 2006 F-150 FX4.
