Default Humming noise

This is not a big deal, I'm just curious as to what it might be. First off its a 2006 5.4 4x4. When I get in the truck in the morning to go to work, as soon as I get in, I can hear a slight humming noise. This is before I even start the truck and only lasts like 5 seconds like something is activated when I open the door. Its almost like an electric motor running. Its so faint that I can't even tell where its coming from. As far as I can tell it doesn't affect the way the truck runs so its not a big deal I was just curios if anyone else has this issue or knows what the sound is.

Probably the fuel pump pressurizing the system if it needs it in preparation for the engine being started.

It’s before he puts the key in the ignition.... wouldn’t be the fuel pump.

Okay, I figured it was triggered by the door opening.

Sounds like it could be coming from under the dash somewhere which wouldn't be the fuel pump.

The blend door shouldn't be moving before the key is put in the ignition.

Nope works fine. I hear it before I even put the key in the ignition as soon as I open my door.

Yes but only chimes when the key is in the ignition. Pretty sure that's normal.
