When you installed your leveling kit did you remove the strut completely or just tip it out and mount the leveling kit on top of the strut and tip it back in?

Saw a youtube video showing them tipping it out and I thought that'd save a ton of hossin on that lower strut mount bolt.

I had to take mine out completely, but I don't have a lift so maybe the 'tip out' method is more doable when it's eye level.

I had to completely remove mine, I couldn't get the lower control arm to swing low enough to tilt it out. Removing the bottom bolt wasn't too bad, (i used air tools). But it allowed me to kinda shimmy the strut out of place.

It depends on your kit. HBS kits require you to completely remove it because you have to turn it around to reinstall.
