I just purchased a 2008 XLT used...has the touch pad on drivers door..there is no owners manual in truck...I bought it from a GMC dealer and they didn't know how to program it....can anyone here tell me?

 

if you dont know the code for it right now you either need to take it to ford and have them get it for you. this costs money.

the free way is taking the back seat off and its located on the door pad motor box. its a sticker with a 5 digit code.

after you have this you can program your door pad to whatever you'd like.

I found my factory code by opening the glovebox all the way and looking up in the space. To do this you have to push the two sidewalls of the box together and just pull it out further. Whether the code location was moved in my 2005 or not, I found mine there. It's worth a quick look even though it's not the same year.

 

any one know where it would be located on an 01 4 door f150?

 

Look behind your back seat, I have a 04 and I took down my back seat then the back panel and it was on a sticker, should be on drivers side
