NO CHROME!! Except for old cars... Trucks are for work, off-roading, haul things... if people want chrome and shinny vehicule, they should have a Cadillac or an old Belair!!!

That's just my opinion! Thanks.

Countryman! I completely agree. However, i still spend a majority of my time on pavement probably breaks down like this:

75% pavement
20% pavement pulling
5% on gravel/offroad

so w/ it being like this i like to give the truck a little bit of "flare" if you will. if i would have been looking at a truck to spend all my time off road and never dress it up, i would have bought an XL....no offense to the XL guys, there is a reason they are built FORD TOUGH , but each truck has its purpose. and mine happens to be pulling and on the roads 90% of the time and when i take "The Boss" out on the town for a night I like to look sharp

some of you guys imply that having chrome makes a truck weaker or more prone to damage when it actually proves quite the opposite. those cool painted bumpers and running bars will chip and rust years before chrome will. nothing wrong with having a truck that gets dirty but can clean up nice too. they say that chrome dont get ya home, but neither does paint or plastic. my truck doesnt tow less, is no less capable in the dirt or less of a "built ford tough" truck because it has chrome. for anyone to assume that is just plain silly. its all about looks and IMO, chrome looks better.

I would say skip the rocker panels (because if you go cheap on them, they look cheap. And terrible) and as someone else mentioned get the pull part of the handle chromed. But also get the surround painted to match the rest of your truck.

no way it looks great! As said before the white trucks just seem to look great w/ lots of chrome on them. I think im going to get the insert for the Grill that will make it look like your grill and then prolly just leave it at that (call me crazy but i really like the look of the stock 17" rims). I think the All black handles complement my tinted windows and mirrors that are all balck. It will help tie it in when i put a tonneau cover on. Goodness im going to need to get a loan on top of what i already pay for my truck in order to put all the mods i want on itHow about a charity fund for my mods? who wants to donate!

Yeah, this is not the place to ask for opinions on the looks of your truck. Only because the opinions range from one end of the spectrum to the other. It's obvious from your op that you like the chromed look, so chrome the "ish" out of it!. Even get the chrome/mirror tint and only stop when your satisfied with the look. Besides, your the only one here that will see your truck evryday. IMO , chrome looks good and for the record the only chrome on my truck is the bumpers. And for all the chrome haters here, especially the ones with motorcycles, go in your garage and take a look at your bike, then tell me how pussified chrome looks.....haha...i'm just sayin'

i was just basically asking others opinions so i could hear from both extremes and get a few pics to give me some ideas. thats what im here for (i cant speak for anyone else) but i like others opinions and obviously dont want to spend $2000 on all kinds of chrome stuff and then find out I really dont like it. Im not one to add 1 thing a month. I like to do it all in one shot. So im going to stick w/ the grill for now and leave it at that.

White and Black definately look the best in Chrome IMO. And I like the idea of just the pull handle being chrome and you paint the surround to match the truck color. But my truck is black anyways so I just made the surround chrome as well.
