04 stx 4.6 96,xxx when I bought it 4 years ago it had 60,000 funny story the place I bought it from well I was talking with the salesman in the back lot while they went and filled up my truck. When we both hear a crash he's like good lord while I'm thinking yeah there's my truck we get up front and I was right. The Guy that went to fill it up was backing in and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and ended up on top of a 58 mile eclipse needless to say it got totaled I got a new rear bumper new exhaust and 6 payments made about 3 months after I got it the transmission went out and the dealer put in a new one

04 with almost 87k. No issues yet. *fingers crossed* doing plugs soon before winter hits.

2004 Screw fx4 5.4L. I am nearing 175 xxx miles. I purchased the truck with 172 xxx miles 3 weeks ago. It was a trade in at the dodge dealer I work at and was being wholesaled. I knew it had never been taken care of and would need some work. I had never owned a ford and figured I'd jump in and give it another chance. I just use it for around town and small trips out of town. It's a pretty loaded get around truck, 6 disc, overhead dvd, limited slip. So I couldn't pass it up. With some work I think it has quiet abit of life left yet.

So far I have;
-Resealed the front differential, it was leaking pretty good
-New wipers
-Oil change
-Re attached rear view mirror to window
-Got remote start functioning again
-Spent hours cleaning, and have hours to go
-Got the tailgate functioning again
-Radio wasn't working, just a burnt out fuse
-Removed factory side steps and lift blocks
-New air filter
-Window switch quit working after reading the thread on here, fixed it this morning after finding an article regarding cleaning the contacts.

Stuff left to do;
-Rebuild rear differential
-cleaning...need to shampoo rug and seats acouple more times and hopefully get the the truck waxed before winter.
-Exhaust leak on the right side, somewhere
-abs light is on, I havn't had a chance to check but its either the rear diff sensor or wiring
-phasers knock but i'm not sure its worth the money to repair at this milage
-brake light comes on when cold, has a code for left front wheel sensor
-Would be nice to do plugs, but the scary part is i'm not sure they have ever been changed.

05 5.4 xlt 4x4. Quickly approaching 170,000. Haven't had anything go wrong really. IWE solenoid, fuel pump driver module, and it has the typical cam
Phaser noise burnout doesn't bother me any.
