Not that it is impossible but 10 seconds? That is not just fast man that is screaming, I have yet to see a lightning or roush truck break 11 seconds. So your gonna have to basically rebuild the entire motor with aftermarket parts, supercharger, and some quality dyno tuning to get it running good.

If you really wanting to go big get comp stage 4 cams from rpmoutlet.com then go with a bigger throttle body, pulleys, procharger, and long tube header back exhaust. Then finally go get an sct dyno tune put on it. I got all that and im runnning 11s. Hard to hit 10s. Thinking bout a 150 shot and i should be there. Im running 4.10 gears with 20s. 275/45-20 tires.

What's your 60 foot times and how many lbs of fun stuff?

that's pretty impressive to get into 11's. :-)

I've yet to reach that with my Mustang but she's only got basic bolt ons for now....

I should rephrase. I think I would be in the 12's now with current setup but I don't know as I haven't taken it to the track yet....

My buddy put a lightning engine in his '99 4WD, extended cab. He ported and polished the heads, spent insane amounts of money on custom cams and exhaust, and got it to run low 12's. This was on an all terrain tire in, I mention this again, a 4WD.

I was corrected, my buddies truck went mid 12's. This is some video of his wife driving the truck (I think he likes the sound of the supercharger). This was also when he bolted a H-D blower to the stock short block. After he melted a piston he put in the Lightning motor.

Now he can't get a trans to last more than a few months at a time. He also got some new tires for when he is at the track. I don't know if he ran it yet with the new tires and the front diff gutted. He wound up going to Iraq.

I'd have to go with a Supercharger, header's, 4.10 or 4.30 gear's with a Limited slip, programmer with custom tunes, sticky rear tires. Mount spare right over the rear axle and under a bed cover. Fairing below the front bumper. I'd run a reg. or super cab short bed 4x2. These mod's should easily get a truck to run in the 13-14 second range at around 100-105 mph.
