It was cracked before I started--now its just plain broken.

 

Looks like a warranty issue to me-Damn thing just exploded!! I've never pulled one out but the trim rings look like the pop off and what ever is securing the lamp assy will be accessable. Take pictures, my last truck had a dome light out and everytime I tried to pop the cover off I could hear cracking which prompted me to leave it alone.

 

the whole housing comes down...just clipped in...and i dont think you can get just the lenses...you have to get the whole thing

 

Hmmm..I heard that cracking sound too-shoulda taken the warning. The whole assembly comes down as one piece,and is sold as one piece. P/N 7L3Z18519A70BA The price nearly knocked me over.

I'm not sure if it's screwed in or held by clips--does the headliner need to come down?

 

I found the diagram and thats what I thought,just didn't want to break it any more. Thanks

 

4 of the 6 screw posts were broken off




Fixed..Crazy Glue.. ...Might paint it when it warms up.

 

Looks pretty good. A little bondo and a paint job and it will look better than OE
