As the title states, how common is this? I have a '05 Lariat 5.4 and I am noticing a prevelant miss at idle when cold that lessens when warm but never really goes away. Also notice some lack of get up and go when merging onto highway. I average about 13.5-14.1 combined mpg.
I have about 41k on the truck and I dont know that the fuel filter has ever been changed. I know I have to replace this but just wanted more info to know what to look for.

 

go under search and look up ticking injectors and pages of it will come up .I have a 2005 with the same problem
